CEO and Founder

David Holland is the Founder and CEO of Astero Energy LLC. He brings more than 30 years of experience in petroleum and geothermal engineering, reservoir management, HPHT well design, multiphase flow, well integrity, and energy-system optimization. His work at Astero focuses on transforming qualified reservoirs and produced-fluid systems into scalable subsurface-powered energy infrastructure.

His background spans subsurface evaluation, concept selection, project and oilfield economics, asset valuation, major capital project support, research leadership, and multi-functional team management. He currently serves as Executive Director of the ROICE Program at the University of Houston and provides consulting support in CCS business development and techno-economics.
